Pray me through Africa
We’ll need specific prayer for this particular PassionLife trip.
Can you and I speed up the return of Jesus Christ?
Yes, we can hasten the return of Christ by the way we live. And we ought to live and be reminded in every new year to make the most of our time to advance the kingdom of God.
Blessings on your New Year
Pray for us and with us as we trust God to expand the influence of PassionLife in 2025.
The Axe Is At The Root
John the Baptist’s words, “Even now the axe is laid to the root of the trees,” found in Matthew 3:10, can used as a metaphor to describe the fight against abortion. This metaphor emphasizes the need to address the root causes of abortion, such as societal pressures and the dehumanization of the unborn.
Merry Christmas from PassionLife
Though the Christmas celebrations generally start in early December, the time leading up to Christmas, or Advent, should be a time of reflection and patience that culminates in Christmas, the celebration of the incarnation of Christ.
The Joy of Sacrifice
The advent season is a beautiful time to reflect on our joy and thanksgiving for the Gospel. Will you sacrifice with us?
Is there a dragon in your nativity?
The traditional nativity scene brings all the pieces of the Christmas story together into one picture. But don’t forget the red dragon from Revelation 12 is also part of the Christmas story. He came to destroy Christ the moment He was born and he’s trying to destroy us even now. Let us rejoice in the victory and wage the war of love.
A Season of Preparation
John the Baptist exemplifies what a life of preparation looks like.
What I learned from Matthew West
John’s appreciation of Matthew West’s music, especially during the Christmas season, comes from a discussion they had several years ago. Matthew is passionate about using music to help encourage his listeners faith with stories of God’s faithfulness to mend and heal. John was encouraged to hear the stories behind “Mended” and “Untold.”
A Society Without Absolutes
Embracing a Biblical ethic is crucial for establishing a stable and moral society and essential for navigating complex moral issues and preventing societal decline. Francis Schaeffer wrote, “If there are no absolutes by which to judge society, then society itself is absolute.”
Keeping the Black Dog leashed
Depression appears to attack Christians great and small. What help do we get from the Scriptures to fight against the darkness and despair and the false condemnation that usually comes in periods of depression?
I’m filthy rich, are you?
Paul’s words in 1 Timothy demand a recalibration of what we consider “rich” to be.
