Storming the Strongholds
An evening with friends discussing the gospel-driven rescue movement arising in countries where abortion, infanticide, and gendercide are especially strong and deadly: the darkest strongholds of abortion on the planet!
Hosting a “Storming the Strongholds” dessert in your home means helping your friends think outside the border! Where are we most needed? Where is abortion most concentrated? Is it China, Cuba, Vietnam, Uganda, Russia? Where do we see Christians overcoming the stronghold of abortion in their country? How can we help them and spread it to other needy places?
You Invite
“Storming the Strongholds” evenings are designed to be informative, encouraging, and an entry point for those who want to do hard things in hard places. Pick a date, invite a few friends, and put out desserts. We’ll do the rest
- Invite twelve, fifteen, or even twenty friends!
- Invite them from your Sunday Adult Class, home group, or Bible study. Invite anyone who may not know that only 3% of annual abortions worldwide happen in the USA. That means that 97% of the moral crisis of abortion is a world missions challenge. Invite those who might like to learn more, ask questions, and get involved.
- Invite those with a visible passion for the gospel/world missions and those with a similar passion to stand for life and rescue the innocent.
Bring friends into the fellowship of your home. Introduce them to prolife
work as world missions. Let them see where they can make a life-saving impact,
in a life-changing way, in hard places.
We’ll Do the Rest
- One of our Executive leaders (John Ensor, Mark Nicholson, or Tammy De Armas) will join you, in person, at your home.
- Guests will learn of abortion from a global perspective, and PassionLife’s strategic approach to igniting a prolife, gospel-driven rescue movement in the neediest places. Through pictures and stories, they will meet the brave Christians risking much to rescue the innocent and see the impact of our support in the babies rescued from abortion and the mother’s and couples transformed through Christ as a result.
- You will be encouraged to share why you love this mission. We will give your friends an opportunity to join you in the Great Work, if they are able and if they, too, want to rescue the most innocent in the hardest places.
