PasiónVida's Impact
We train local pastors and leaders in biblical ethics with the goal of launching a national movement that rescues unborn lives and leads mothers to find salvation in Christ.
The Situation in Mexico
The Mexican government decriminalized abortion in September 2023, but it is only legal in 12 of the 32 states. Chemical abortions are performed using Misoprostol only.
Some women travel from the US for an abortion in Mexico.
Since 2021, our PasíonVida team has been making multiple trips a year to Mexico and has built a strong network of pastoral and lay leaders to stage expanding work in Mexico’s churches.
Simplified, reproducible resources on biblical bioethics, prolife apologetics, and crisis pregnancy intervention are translated and circulating freely in Spanish.
Our Strategy for Mexico
Teaching the 4 Questions in a biblical, logical, and concise manner leads to the following outcomes:
- The treasuring of human life
- The rejection of abortion
- The proclamation of the Gospel, including Christ’s forgiveness, resulting in freedom from guilt.
- The rescuing of unborn babies by reaching one mother at a time.
Our strategy is to encourage rapid replication of our teaching content so that mothers and babies are rescued from abortion and come to faith in Christ.
The Mexican Church as an Army of Good Samaritans
Once the leadership is trained in the 4 Questions, their churches are taught to mobilize and rescue mothers and babies through counseling, support ministries, pregnancy centers, post-abortion care, and other initiatives. Ultimately, families are transformed by the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

The Latest on Mexico
During PasíonVida’s most recent trip to Mexico, a team of Christians, including Ariana Nava and Reyna Llorente, committed to opening a pregnancy help organization in Aguascalientes under the leadership of Pastor Alex Marin. They are currently making the space suitable for pregnancy counseling.
A second team in Aguascalientes, including Eliseo and Rebeca Rodriguez, has begun training others in the 4 Questions.
Pastor Jorge Hernandez is teaching the 4 Questions in Tuxla City.
PasíonVida teams continue traveling to Mexico to support the ongoing work and seek new avenues.
